Arrive in Fort Augustus on the banks of Loch Ness, with opportunities to take a boat cruise, walk, or relax by the Caledonian Canal in this charming Highland village. On the return, travel past Loch Laggan, climb the wild Drumochter Pass in the Cairngorms National Park, and head south into Perthshire, a land of forests, rivers, and mountains, stopping in a small village. Continue south over the Firth of Forth to view the Forth Bridges before returning to Edinburgh.
