Highlights Tour: June Roses (1 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.) QBG Farm Tour (3 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.) Birthday Cake Cutting – Gather around as we sing and celebrate Miffy’s birthday and enjoy a special treat – birthday cake! (2 p.m.) Party Activities 1. Garden ParTea Herbal Tea blending Kids create 2 tea bags using herbs and flowers from the Garden while learning about their traditional uses and exploring the plants growing in nature. 2. Flower & Friends Seed Planting Decorate a mini pot and plant stake before planting up a summer annual. It’s the perfect way to express creativity and connect with nature. (1 planting per participant) 3. Hapazome Natural Printmaking Create unique party hats or cards using natural dyes from Garden plants and flowers. 4. Miffy Sugar Cookie Decorating Decorate a Miffy-themed sugar cookie using professional techniques—enjoy it on-site or take it home! Miffy was first created on June 21, 1955, by Dick Bruna, the famed Dutch artist, to entertain his son on a rainy seaside holiday in Holland. Bruna then made Miffy the main character in a series of picture books, which earned critical acclaim and sold all over the world. Miffy has since become a globally beloved character, known for her innocence, optimism, and whimsy. Over the past 70 years, she has captured the hearts of people of all ages. Check out more here !
