Programme Liszt: Liebestraume No. 3 Beethoven: Moonlight Sonata Felix Mendelssohn: Songs Without Words Op. 38 No. 6 "Duetto" Songs Without Words Op. 67 No. 2 "Lost Illusions" Songs Without Words Op. 67 No. 4 "Spinning Song" Rachmaninoff: Prelude in D major Op. 23 No. 4 Prelude in G minor Op. 23 No. 5 Chopin: Nocturne in C-sharp minor, Op. posth. Étude Op. 10 No. 3 in E major, "Tristesse" Liszt: La Campanella About Maiko Mori Since winning first prize at the Birmingham International Piano Competition in 2002, Maiko Mori has continued to build an international career as one of the outstanding soloists and chamber musicians of her generation. Maiko has enjoyed acclaim at prestigious venues in the UK, Europe and Japan such as Radio France, BBC Radio 3, Cheltenham Festival, the Purcell Room in London, West Road Concert Hall in Cambridge, Kolarac in Belgrade, Serbia and Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Japan, to mention but a few. Alongside her growing performing career, she is passionate in working with young generations internationally. She teaches at the University of Chichester.
